The residential experience is a formative program to assist in developing residents’ emotional intelligence, resilience, and well-being. Through living on campus and being a part of the residential community, we encourage members to participate in social responsibility and personal accountability, explore pathways for leadership and mentorship and seek opportunities for cultivating university community connections and a sense of belonging.
While not all Simmons students live on campus, we strive to foster a sense of community. We have a robust population of commuter students who live within the local neighborhood or along the commuter rail. The Simmons Off-Campus resources are great for finding affordable apartment listings in the Boston area. As a commuting student, you can access commuter services such as a lounge specifically for you, free locker rentals, and discounted programs through the MBTA and MASCO. Once you get to campus, you can dine at any eating venue; if you’re looking for a convenient and cost-saving way to dine on campus, consider purchasing a meal plan that fits your needs.
