Transportation

The cost of transportation has continued to rise but the MBTA Youth Pass Program is now available to college students $30 Monthly Link pass if you meet the requirements. There are four steps to complete to access this program. This drastically cuts down on the cost which is currently $90 through the MBTA or $270 semesterly (4 months) through the MBTA Semester Program.

Step One

The City of Boston and MBTA are offering  T-Passes to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 25
  • Receive a Federal Pell Grant Recipient or
  • A Mass Health Recipient

Step Two

You must complete the intake form.

  • After you complete your intake form, you will receive an email confirming your residence eligibility with information on how to get a Youth Pass.

Step Three

Prepare for your appointment.

  • Complete the application
  • Sign up for an appointment time by calling 617-635-4202 (we prefer appointments, but walk-ins are welcome), and
  • Gather the required documents for the appointment to receive a Youth Pass.
