Health Plans – Medical, Dental and Vision
If you are a full-time faculty or staff member and are scheduled to regularly work:
- at least 35 hours a week or the full-time equivalent of the faculty workload OR
- at least 1,000 hours a year (generally a scheduled 20 hours/week), or at least half-time equivalent faculty workload
Note: For medical, dental and vision plan only, full-time will be defined as at least 30 hours a week effective July 1, 2015.
Dependents
Eligible dependents include:
- Your legally married spouse or domestic partner
- Children up to the end of the month in which they turn 26 on the medical, dental, vision and life plan
- Disabled child of any age
Definition of Dependents: Dependent generally means any individual who qualifies as a dependent under Code Section 152 (as modified by Code Section 105(b)). Any child of a Plan Participant who is determined to be an alternate recipient under a qualified medical child support order under ERISA Sec. 609 shall generally be considered a Dependent under this Plan.

Short-Term Disability (STD) Plan
- Regular full-time and eligible part-time faculty or staff member.
Long-Term Disability (LTD) Plan
- Regular full-time and eligible part-time faculty or staff member
