Launch of New Ticketing System for Web Updates

The webteam is transitioning from our old unsupported ticketing system into ServiceNow on Thursday, November 21. The new platform is the same one used by the Technology Service Desk. 

Beginning November 21, you will notice:

  • Emails from [email protected] will look a little different. They will contain a ServiceNow templated message regarding your web support ticket.
  • You will be able to view a dashboard with multiple selections of fillable forms based on the type of web support you need. 
  • You will be able to access a portal to see the tickets you have submitted and assess the progress.

The old links for filling out forms will all be redirected to ServiceNow. Sending an email to [email protected] will create a ticket in ServiceNow. The direct link to the ServiceNow ticketing dashboard is simmons.edu/web-requests.

The webteam will continue to offer the same level of support you are used to receiving. However, as with the launch of any new system, there may be a few glitches in the beginning. We thank you in advance for your patience as we all become accustomed to the new system.
