The Facilities team has received an unusually high volume of work orders over the past month and are working diligently to address each of them in a timely fashion based on the urgency of the work. Due to this unusual volume, there may be delays in the completion of work orders. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
As a reminder, please submit your work requests through our online portal at fixit.simmons.edu. Emergency requests such as fire, medical emergencies, water leaks, broken glass, and hazardous chemical or waste spills should be directed to Public Safety at all times by calling 617-521-1112.
Same Day work requests are work requests that are responded to during the same business day that the request is submitted. Due to the time-sensitivity of these requests, they should be submitted by phone during regular business hours at 617-521-1000 (Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm) in order to ensure an appropriate response time. If submitted online, responses might be delayed. For more information on what qualifies as a “Same Day” request, please review our SLA agreement here.
