Rae-Anne, who has served as the Olin College Dean of Student Affairs for the past eight years, brings extensive leadership experience and knowledge of Student Affairs to Simmons. In her new role as Dean of Student Experience, Rae-Anne will be a key partner in ensuring a welcoming campus community that is open and accessible to all. She will oversee student experience, student supports and community standards, and work closely with the team to develop and implement a strong strategic vision for Student Affairs.
In addition, she will collaborate with University departments to enhance student leadership programming and to develop additional co-curricular pathways that promote residential engagement. Her professional practice focuses on identity development and student wellness supports, and she will coordinate with our four colleges and other departments in these areas. In addition, Rae-Anne will serve as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the Division.
Rae-Anne is a passionate and thoughtful leader, and her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and to enhancing the lives of students is a tremendous asset to our community. We are so excited that she begins on August 2.
