Pre-packaged Food Boxes Available Tomorrow

October 6, 2020

At Simmons, we recognize day-to-day living has become increasingly difficult. Food insecurity is a community issue, and we are taking steps to assist as many as possible during this time. To that end, Simmons is partnering with the USDA Farmers to Families Program to receive shipments of pre-packaged food boxes on Friday, October 2. This program is free. The food box will consist of a variety fruits, vegetables, dairy items and meat. The packages are heavier, so please consider bringing a sturdy backpack or cart if you are walking or taking public transportation to pick up your box.

This program is offered to students, staff and faculty on a first-come, first-serve basis. To sign up, please pre-register by completing this form today, October 1, 2020.

Please note, if the form is not available, it is because we have reached capacity. You must come to campus Friday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to pick up your box or have it placed directly into your trunk.
