Managing & Creating Communication in Times of Crisis
Friday, June 19, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
This session will explore a vast array of tools and techniques to aid you in building communication, conversations, and compelling stories and delivering them in a way that is impactful, genuine, and motivational. This work will include audience profiling to increase relevance, selection of tools beyond PowerPoint that help engage, and getting to the “3 things” that your audience needs to know so that you can enlist them and move them to action.
Making Teams Work
Tuesday, June 23, 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Teams creates the culture of an organization. In the current climate, with most people necessarily working remotely, virtual teams have become a fact of life. The goal of this session is to identify the qualities of productive and healthy teams, and to provide managers with key strategies to enhance the performance of their own teams. We will cover effective practices for supporting virtual teams; techniques for building collaboration; and strategies for leading and managing virtual meetings.
Managing Up, Down and Across
Tuesday, June 30, 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Institutions are like ecosystems – networks of interdependent individuals and groups who interact in order to thrive. As a manager, your role in your institutional ecosystem comes with a specific set of relationships and interactions – up, down, and across from you. How you manage those is crucial to your success.
This webinar will identify key strategies for managing in those three directions: how to add value by making your manager’s job easier; how to partner with colleagues and peers for mutual success; and, how to help your direct reports help you.
