2020 Leadership Recognition Nominations

Each year, the Undergraduate Student Government Association, in collaboration with the Offices of Student Affairs and Student Leadership & Activities, recognizes and honors the achievements of the undergraduate student leaders, student organizations and their advisers at the annual Leadership Recognition Ceremony. This year’s ceremony will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 23rd.

They are seeking nominations of students who exemplify the qualities of leadership best reflected in each of the unique awards presented. Student accomplishments and leadership can take many forms.

Community participation in the nomination process is essential because of your first-hand observations of the many ways students are making an impact inside and outside of the Simmons community.

To nominate a Student Leader:

• Please nominate one student per award, offering a brief explanation to support your nomination.
• You can nominate students for more than one award. Excerpts from nominations may be used when rewards are presented, so we encourage you to offer compelling examples and descriptions that best demonstrate how your nominee shines.
• Self-nominations are also encouraged!

The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 6th.
