Volunteer for the Simmons Leadership Conference and See Serena Williams

February 25, 2020

Be a part of Simmons’ history and see the Simmons mission in action, by volunteering to be part of the 41st Simmons Leadership Conference’s event staff on Thursday, April 16.

Get inspired and network with Simmons students, faculty, staff, and alums, as well as corporate leaders from major corporations. When you aren’t working your shift(s), you can attend the conference, and you’ll also have access to the video-on-demand of all conference sessions for 90 days. We have streamlined our operations this year so we only need volunteers for the actual day of the event.

This event relies on many wonderful volunteers who make it possible for the Conference to bring both visibility and financial support to the University. Will you join us?

Here’s what’s involved:

1. Attend a pre-conference training at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center: Thursday, March 26 OR Monday, April 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Parking in the Seaport Hotel garage and dinner will be provided.

2. Be available to work Thursday, April 16, from 5:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
You will be assigned to approximately 8 hours of work during the day. Your specific shift will be sent to you in late March. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, depending on your schedule. Parking is provided in the Seaport Hotel garage, if available, but we strongly recommend taking public transportation. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to reimburse for Lyft/Uber.

To register, go to http://bit.ly/SLC20VR
Space is limited. Volunteer positions and shifts are filled on a first-come, first-served basis
