Veteran’s Day is listed as a floating holiday on the FY20 Holiday and Winter Break Schedule. As a reminder, the university will be open on November 11.
Floating holidays provide employees with a paid day, taken at a time chosen by the employee and approved by the manager. Employees, if eligible, may elect to use floating holidays (if approved), on the actual day of the holiday or at any time after that day within the fiscal year.
If you are a benefits-eligible employee and would like to take November 11 off, the floating holiday time will be in Workday and should be requested via the regular process for time off, so managers can plan for coverage.
