Street Safety Virtual Reality and Other Public Safety Week Activities

October 8, 2019

As part of Public Safety Week, Simmons is partnering with the City of Boston, Fundación MAPFRE (MAPFRE Foundation), and Boston Children’s Hospital to bring an interactive, virtual reality (VR) program that will engage and educate students, faculty, and staff. The VR experience is similar to a driving video game, taking participants through different levels of distractions with a score at the end and guidance about how you can prioritize safety on the road. This is one of the many safety week activities that will take place on campus. See the full list of activities

Try VR for yourself from 3-8 p.m. on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10 at Bartol Hall and  Common Grounds!
