Dear Students,

As we near the end of our year, we want to update you on end-of-year celebration activities and commencement. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication and look forward to celebrating your many accomplishments and achievements.

During the week of May 16th, the Center for Leadership and Engagement, Provost’s Office, Student Affairs, and the Class of 2022 Council have put together many free and low-cost activities. These include:

  • Duck Tours
  • Time Out Market
  • Senior Leadership Awards Celebration
  • Senior Academic Awards Ceremony + Department Celebrations
  • Dave & Buster’s
  • Senior Brunch
  • Commencement Ball
  • Nursing Pinning
  • Senior Toast and Candle Lighting

*All events listed above are subject to change. More information will follow in two weeks, including registration and pricing details.

We are thrilled to share that Commencement will return to the Leader Bank Pavilion (formerly Blue Hills Pavilion) in the Seaport district on May 20, 2022.

  • Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. Students must arrive and check-in by 8:30 a.m.
  • Student shuttle buses will be available from the Residence Campus and Avenue Louis Pasteur.
  • Undergraduate Commencement begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

*Undergraduate students who complete their program between August 2021 and May 2022. Students with 8 credits or fewer left to complete are eligible to walk at May Commencement, per the Catalog.

Commencement Guests

  • Each graduate may bring up to 4 guests. Please respect this limit so that all graduates’ families and friends can enter the venue.
  • Doors will open for friends and family at 8:00 a.m.
  • Commencement will be streamed live.

*Parents and families will receive an email invitation as well, in the coming days.

While we do not anticipate any COVID-related restrictions at this time, we will continue to monitor the latest public health guidance and City of Boston requirements. More details on Commencement events will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.

Congratulations to the Class of 2022!
