In The Scholarly Teacher, Harriet Schwartz writes: “In this time of uncertainty, anxiety, and fear, we have the potential to model acceptance of imperfection […] and teaching as an act of care.” In this session, we’ll discuss how to cultivate a supportive online course community to foster a sense of belonging, continuity, and presence. 

Facilitator: Ruthann Thomas, Associate Director, Center for Excellence in Teaching; Faculty Representatives from CET’s STAR Scholars programs will join for the discussion.
