Professor Michael Zachary from the Art and Music department will have work included in two upcoming exhibitions in Boston — one at Area Gallery and one at European.gallery.
Area Gallery’s show at The Yard “In Manual Mode” features a group of artists who are inspired by the language of photography and it’s processes, techniques, and subject matters, accepting photography as one means among many to achieve aesthetic goals.
The show runs January 22 – April 22 with an opening reception on Wed., February 5 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
In European Gallery’s show “Fingernail Work”, Professor Zachary is one of two artists presented, who’s work explores the intimacy and vulnerability hidden within the violence and indifference of nature.
The show runs February 7 – March 20 with an opening on February 7 from 7-9 p.m. at European.Gallery
