Stock Up and Get Your Shots!

The upcoming Winter Break is a great time to check some things off your to-do list!

  • Get your seasonal flu and/or updated COVID vaccine. If you haven’t done this yet, it’s not too late- protect yourself from serious illness this winter! You can ask your primary care provider if they provide these vaccines, or visit a local pharmacy. Near campus, both CVS and Walgreens offer vaccinations.

  • Get any other missing immunizations and submit your records. Have you received a reminder from the Health Center about incomplete immunization information? Take some time during these upcoming breaks to complete those requirements. You can find information about what you need to do here.

  • Stock up on home tests, masks, and other supplies in case of illness. If you’d like to be prepared for possible respiratory illnesses this winter, it’s a good idea to have a supply of home COVID/Flu tests, masks, and medications and other items you may need to care for yourself if you get sick (cough drops, pain reliever, tissues, etc.).

The Health Center will be closed for the break beginning December 20th and will reopen on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. If you take prescription medication prescribed by a Health Center provider, please check your supply now and contact your provider if you will need a refill before the break. If you need medical care near campus while we are closed, you can find options here.
