Dear Sharks,

Only one more week 'til we're reunited! 💙

In anticipation of your return to campus, check out our upcoming welcome week events and learn how to navigate classroom numbers and building references (in other words - don't get lost!). Reunite with old friends and make new ones during #SharkWeek, explore community service projects, connect with your advisors, and more. We can't wait to see you next week!

Fall 2025 Academic Campus Map

(. . . and finding your classroom)

If you're new to Simmons, navigating room numbers (and finding your classroom) can seem daunting. You'll be a pro by the end of the month, but just to make things smoother we've provided a map and some keys to memorize.

💡 All spaces on the academic campus begin with a letter, followed by a number (example: A-160). The letter represents the building, while the number represents the floor and room number. In the case of A-160, A = Main College Building, and 160 = 1st floor, room number 160 (aka the SESD suite!).

  • Room numbers beginning with "A" refer to the Main College Building (MCB).
  • Room numbers beginning with "B" refer to One Palace Road (building facing Palace Road).
  • Room numbers beginning with "C" refer to the Helen Drinan Hall (aka the building directly across from the MCB).
  • Room numbers beginning with "E" refer to the Lefavour Building (building facing Avenue Louis Pasteur, aka the library building).
  • Room numbers whose numerals begin with "0" (i.e. A-075) usually refer to a ground-level room. In the MCB, these rooms are on the lower level just below Common Grounds. In the Lefavour Building, the "0"-level classes are on the lobby floor.

You can refer to the updated Fall 2025 Academic Campus Map for more info on which offices/departments are housed on each floor. Please reach out to us with any questions!
