Body Doubling "Study Buddy" Adventure!

Get ready for finals by learning about Body Doubling as a study strategy! 

 

Undergraduate Advising is hosting a workshop called Homestretch Parallel Play: A Body Doubling "Study Buddy" Adventure! Bring your study materials with you on Wednesday, December 13 from 3 - 4:30 pm in the Simmons University Library Reading Room.

SAMs Study Oasis

Join the SAMs at their Study Oasis in the Library Reading Room (E-185) on December 14 from 4pm-6pm! 

 

There will be snacks, study materials and tips, as well as an opportunity to win prizes! Come and go as you please, bring a friend, and get ready for finals.

 

 

Reminder: Newman Civic Fellowship - Jan 19

Are you interested in addressing an issue in the community? Are you a civically-minded student? Consider applying for the Newman Civic Fellowship! The Newman Civic Fellow will work on a proposal of civic engagement within the Simmons or Boston community, write a short proposal (with staff or faculty advising), and attend professional development events with other National Newman Civic fellows. 

 

We are looking for students who are interested in engaging in collaborative action, taking action in addressing issues of inequality and political polarization, and will demonstrate the motivation and potential for effective long-term civic engagement. 

 

We will accept applications until January 19, 2024. Email [email protected] with questions.

 

Health Center During Winter Break

The Health Center will close for winter break at 4:30 PM on Thursday, December 21 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 16

 

If you need to see a provider before the break, please be sure to make an appointment soon! If you take any prescription medication that is prescribed by a provider at the Health Center, please check your supply and make sure you will have enough for the break. If not, contact the prescribing provider as soon as possible. To contact the Health Center, call 617-521-1020.

Residence Halls Open: Sunday, January 14 (Bartol Hall Opens for Dinner)

Spring Classes Begin: Tuesday, January 16
