Art From Inside: Works of Artists in Prison

The Prison Book Program’s curated collection of the works of artists in prison is going to be on display at Simmons for the entire month of November! We are hosting an opening event at 5 PM on Thursday, November 2 on the 3rd Floor of the Management Building.

 

Come join us for an evening to hear from PBP’s executive director, Kelly Brotzman. Learn more about how mass incarceration affects access to books and how you can get involved!

Drop-In Sessions with Undergraduate Advising

Fall Weekly Drop-Ins

Have a quick academic question? Want to meet with a professional advisor? Come to weekly drop-in advising for a brief 10-15 minute meeting with a professional advisor.

 

  • Tuesdays 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM 
  • Thursdays 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM 

Drop-in sessions are in the Center for Student Success (CSS) or via Zoom.  Please note that the Zoom link only works during listed drop-in hours. Students should wait in the CSS lounge for in-person meetings, and keep an eye on their email for a link from an advisor if they select to do a virtual drop-in meeting.

Reminder: FREE Fitness Classes with Fit at Simmons!

FIT at Simmons provides group fitness classes to Simmons students for free, thanks to a generous gift from Nancy Gavrin ’58!

 

All classes are offered at the Holmes Sports Center and follow a drop-in format. Just bring your student ID to get in!
