Introducing Dr. Renique Kersh, VP for Student Affairs

Hey Sharks!

I'm so excited to be joining the Simmons University community and I'm looking forward to getting to know you. Welcome to the first edition of The Anchor. This bi-weekly communication will provide you with important information on opportunities to get involved across campus, to develop your leadership skills, and to share your own stories.

To that end, I invite you to join me for an upcoming Meet the VP event. During these meet and greets, I'd like to get to know a little bit about you and hear your thoughts and ideas about how we can ensure that this fall and beyond is memorable and meaningful for you. Making a Difference

Working to #StopAsianHate

In light of the horrific, targeted attack against Asian Americans on March 16, and the documented rise in hate crimes against Asian Americans during the pandemic, we want to offer not only our support, but our commitment to action. The Asian American Commission of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts provides Anti-Asian Racism Resources, as well as opportunities to learn and get involved in initiatives and legislation that support the AAPI community.

Stay safe, and be well.
