Information to Anchor Your Simmons Experience

Welcome to The Anchor, the bi-weekly communication for students from Student Affairs, providing relevant information to anchor your Simmons experience.

From the VP's Desk

Hey Sharks!

I hope you enjoyed your long weekend! I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about the upcoming Meet the VP events. The first event will be tonight, and the second will be next Wednesday. These will be informal meet and greets, and I really want to use this time to get to know you and hear what you think would make your experience this coming fall meaningful and memorable.

If you have a moment during either of these events, I'd love for you to drop in, say hello, and share your thoughts on how we can make your Simmons experience the best it can be! The dates and Zoom Links for these Meet the VP sessions are included below:

Tuesday, April 20 | 5:00-6:30pm | Zoom Link

Wednesday, April 28 | 1:00-2:30pm | Zoom Link

Hope to see you there!

Making a Difference

Testing Site Student Workers

Student workers courageously stepped up and played a crucial role in the success of Simmons' COVID-19 on-campus testing this year. These eight dedicated individuals mastered all aspects of the testing process and have been instrumental in keeping our campus safe and nearly COVID-free all year! We recognize and thank these students for performing an essential service to the Simmons community.

Thank you, Allison Camboulives, Kristen Carroll, Cassie England, MK Goodwin, Crystal Huang, Luorong Lamu, Sara Manjikian, and Tabitha Miles!

Stay safe, and be well.
