Digitizing Women’s Suffrage In honor of the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment ratification, Wentworth Institute of Technology and Simmons University are co-hosting two public events to make women’s history accessible.
February 25, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.,
Wentworth Institute of Technology, 550 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA, Center for Engineering, Innovation, and Science (CEIS)
Come help transcribe the letters, notebooks, and other papers of suffragists Mary Church Terrell, Anna Julia Cooper, and Anna Dickinson! No experience necessary. There will be refreshments, swag, a suffrage cake, and lots of fun!

Our thematic focus is on activists, especially suffrage and civil rights activists who were or are women of color. The event is open to all. Join us for 20 minutes or 2 hours, whether or not you’ve ever edited Wikipedia entries before! With more refreshments, more swag, and more fun!
